IMPROVING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS TO IMPROVE HEALTH

This project aims to improve living, safety and hygiene conditions of the inhabitants of Koboko (Uganda).

Project performed in 2014.

 

 

This project aims to give a significant contribution to the development of the structural system of Koboko city, especially in the fields of hydrogeological risk and urban planning, with an intervention that allows to start a series of actions that will lead to a signifi-cant health and safety improvement to the whole city and its inhabitants.

The presence of canals in the city is seen as the most serious problem of the city by the administration and by the entire population, since it causes accidents, also deathly, and the worsening of the hygienically-sanitation situation.
